 | "Oh, the humanity!...Or lack thereof..." | | AUSTINTOWN,TX -Stephen Marks, Carlton Sheets zero money down graduate and self-confessed predatory realtor, laments he must have "had a weak day" when he actually paid a desperate seller what her house was really worth
"I-I don't know what got into me. The appraisal came in at $125,000 and I actually offered her..."
Trembling, Marks nursed a Caribou triple moca latte
"...*gasp*...$125,000 for it. She told me how her husband died and she couldn't afford to pay the mortgage with her Social Security alone. For some disturbing reason I felt her despair and paid her what her property was really worth. I had her over a barrel with a guillotine chaser and I folded. I dropped the gilded chalupa. I even threw in the appraisal and closing costs for free. I-I ended up losing money...Dear God, Dear God, what have I done?! I can only hope and pray to sweet Jesus that this never happens again!"
Marks vowed to listen to his Carlton Sheets zero down real estate training tapes "until my sanity is fully restored" before returning to the local foreclosure listings."
