 | Car radios: America's unsung psychic source. | | MOLINE, IL - Morning commuter Amanda Finklestein has breathlessly reached the startling conclusion that songs on her car radio during her morning commute are giving her "dating advice, career direction and motivation" as she flips up and down the channels on her drive to work each day.
Amanda bubbly describes :
"It works every time! This morning, for instance, I was wondering if I had any chance with this guy named Tom at work, I flip through a few stations, and guess what almost knocks me to the floor? 'Take on me', by Aha! How prophetic was that?! And just as I was leaving the exit ramp on Taylor blvd., I had this strange urge to flip over to WZAK, and guess what's playing? Kelly Clarkson's song 'Behind these hazel eyes'! OMG! I have hazel eyes! I'm totally wigged out!"
Finklestein also cited getting career advice from Papa Roach, Green Day, The Black Eyed Peas, Lifehouse and Mariah Carey, and confessed that her current employment as an adjunct beautician's assistant at Tammy's Hair Hut was "only a passing phase".ispl
